Jeremiah 26:13 KJV — Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 Oct 2025
Jehovah God is patient and long-suffering towards humans and does not want anyone to perish. So He endures much of the despicable behaviour and rebellion that humans show to His divine authority. He loves to give everyone more than enough rope to either bring themselves down from their high pedestal of arrogance and rebellion in humility or to hang themselves therewith. If you choose to continue in your rebellion Jehovah will sadly give you the punishment you ask for, but if you will humble yourself and forsake your rebellion, know that God will gladly and magnanimously forgive you and give you a new lease of life. Don’t let anyone deceive you, God will not leave the unrepentant unpunished. I urge you to make haste and make your ways right with Jehovah and be spared the wrath of the mighty God.
