God’s Word for Today - 03 Nov 2025
Zechariah 7:10 (KJV): And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 03 Nov 2025
People who proclaim Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord are said to be in the world but not of the world. They are set apart unto Jehovah and committed to living to please God and to bring Him glory. They are not supposed to emulate any of the behaviours that are rampant in the world. Sadly, one is unable to distinguish the difference between those who are in the world and those who are in churches where they claim to be following Christ. The injustice against the defenceless poor and immigrant populations in many churches across the world is undeniable and this is contrary to what God expects of His people. If you have been guilty of inflicting pain on the defenceless or keeping silent in the face of injustice, then you must repent and seek forgiveness from Jehovah now. Come clean with God and end your hypocrisy today.
Pray: Gracious God, I have been unfaithful in my dealings with the defenceless, please have mercy and forgive me and give me grace to champion the cause of the needy. #Mok
