Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 31 Oct 2025
Everyone who follows Christ is obligated to keep their body consecrated unto the Almighty God as His holy habitation. If you have been saved by grace through faith in Christ your body has become the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and you cannot allow anything to desecrate it in any way. This is why the bible enjoins that you present your body as a living sacrifice to Jehovah every time every day. You cannot allow any sinful behaviour to stain you and leave a blemish on your body because God will not accept such a sacrifice. That’s why you must strive to keep your body in subjection and not succumb to its lustful desires and demands. I urge you to flee every appearance of sin by submitting your desires to the Holy Ghost who enables you.
Pray: Divine Spirit of Jehovah, help me to kill the sinful desires of my flesh and sanctify me for Your habitation and use. #Mok
