I want you to know that anyone who tells you that following Christ is rosy, is either a deceiver or completely ignorant of what discipleship is all about. You must know that choosing to follow Jesus automatically makes the devil and the world your enemy. And they will do all they can to make your life as sorrowful as it can be. But you have God's Spirit in you to shield and defend you always. So fear not!
