Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 July 2024
When God chooses to intervene in any matter the outcome is instant and the impact is irreversible. It should elicit an automatic outpouring of praise and worship of Jehovah for His mercy and His love for undeserving humans. But it is disheartening that this is not always the case with those to whom God has shown such mercy. Many, like the nine lepers that were healed and went away unthankful, take God’s intervention for granted and fail to show any form of gratitude. They seem to be suffering from an entitlement syndrome. Others in their ignorance give the praise and honour that is due to Jehovah to the human vessel that God used as vehicle to perform His wonders. If you belong in either of the groups described above you must repent of your wickedness and ask Christ’s forgiveness today. Learn to always give all the glory to Jehovah for He alone is worthy of praise and honour. He is a jealous God and will not share His glory with anyone. You have been warned!
