Isaiah 38:18 KJV — For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 July 2024
Only the living human beings can praise Jehovah. Do you know God’s purpose for giving humans a mouth and vocal chords is for them to communicate with Jehovah and with one another? In fact God expects each and everyone of us to use everything that we have to eulogise Him at every opportunity we have. In the grave our bodies decompose and become soil and we are no longer capable of praising and worshipping our Creator. So I ask you “why are you failing in your duty towards God?” What further incentive do you need to make you wake up from your lethargy and start to praise God with all your heart, soul and strength, knowing that you have but a limited time on earth to live? I urge you to learn to praise without ceasing.
Pray: O Lord God, You are worthy of my praise everyday for praising You works wonders. Help me to praise You whether it is convenient or not. #Mok
