Nehemiah 6:3 KJV — And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

It is disheartening to see many promising projects turn into so-called white elephant works because those who were entrusted with the work did not understand the value and gravity of the responsibility placed upon them. They allow inconsequential issues to distract them from focusing all their energy and resources on the only one thing that matters, the successful execution of the project entrusted to them. Nehemiah was not a person like that. He was fully consecrated to the work and spared no effort in seeing it to the end. What has Jehovah committed to you? You must emulate the likes of Nehemiah, Noah and Moses who all devoted themselves to the work in line with Jehovah’s will and command. Are you ready?
Pray: Oh Lord my God, give me grace to consecrate myself to the work you have entrusted to me and to complete it to Your pleasure. #Mok
