Matthew 6:5 (KJV) - And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 14 Mar 2023

Many religious folks out there see their adherence to rituals as an opportunity for self-promotion and publicity. They lack sincerity and integrity, and operate from a completely impure motive. Don't be like them. Beware never to vaunt about your prayer prowess for you receive zero reward for doing so. Keep it between you and God. 

Pray: Father, help me to be fervent in prayer in a humble way to please You alone. #Mok
