Ruth 2:12 KJV — The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 01 Jan 2025
The principle of work and reward is fairly well understood whether in the physical or spiritual realm. It is an established fact that you only get rewarded by the one you laboured for. It is however interesting to see people in the church world who are looking forward to be rewarded by Jehovah when it is obvious that they are not doing Jehovah’s bidding. And when their expectations are not fulfilled they turn around and blame God. Some make a show of the charitable work they do so as to receive praise and accolades from people and they still expect a reward from God. But Jehovah says they have received what is due to them. You must learn to trust Christ to reward you and ensure to work in line with Jehovah’s demand.
Pray: Holy Spirit, teach me to fully trust You for a just reward as I commit to labour in Your Vineyard. #Mok
