Joel 2:13 (KJV): And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 18 May 2023
Genuine and acceptable repentance is rooted in the heart and that's where God examines. You can't fool Jehovah with a rootless outward display. Repent and turn to Jesus for forgiveness. He will restore you to Himself.
