Ezekiel 3:18 KJV — When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 Feb 2024
Today's scripture is a good reminder to those followers of Christ who love to sit on the fence when it comes to warning sinners of the peril of continuing to reject the call to salvation in Christ Jesus. If you have been saved by Christ and reconciled to Jehovah, you have the duty to go out and warn others that are yet to be reconciled to God. If you don't and they die in their sinful condition, they will be condemned for their sin, and you will be judged for failing to warn them. Don't be deceived, this duty is not for some special groups of people, but for all who name Christ as Saviour and Lord, and that includes you. So, no more excuses, pick up courage and speak out against evil everywhere you see it. Do not be afraid of the evildoers, but fear God and the consequences of disobeying Him.
Pray: Holy Spirit, I lack courage, please empower me to be bold in warning the wicked and save them from destruction. #Mok
