Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 15 June 2024
Many people claim to have faith in Jehovah but hardly understand what it means to trust in God. They have no problem believing that God can indeed do what He promises but they are unsure if He will. This is precisely where their problem lies, because faith is not believing that God can but knowing without any doubt that He will do what He promises to do. Many want the blessing of Abraham the acclaimed father of faith but they don’t want to emulate Abraham’s lifestyle of faith in Jehovah that earned him the title of “Friend of God”. You cannot have an intimate relationship with Christ without believing that He is and is a rewarder of those who trust in Him. And without faith in Jehovah you will not amount to much in life.
