2 Kings 20:3 KJV — I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Dec 2023
King Hezekiah had no inhibitions in approaching Jehovah and appealing to His justness because he could provide a verifiable audit trail of his life and walk before the most high God. Hezekiah had been a Godpleaser and he was able to remind God of that. What about you? Can you stand boldly before the throne of grace and present your case confidently before His Majesty? How quickly are you able to take up Jehovah’s offer to come and present your case and reason together with Him? Have you been blameless as you follow Christ and represent Him in the world? Or do you fear people more than you fear and love God, so you would rather displease Jehovah than people? It’s time for you to mend your relationship with Christ and be a faithful ambassador. Tomorrow may be too late.
Pray: Lord Jesus, have mercy on me and forgive me for my unfaithfulness. Restore grace upon me to walk in your love and light. #Mok
