Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 27 Aug 2023
What a wonderful accolade to be addressed as the "elect of God"! It is even more so when you know that you didn't do anything to deserve it; it is God's free gift of grace through faith in Christ. Thus it behoves you to live up to that status by emulating Jesus in character and compassion, and in going about doing good to all the people you can, wherever you can and as often as you can. God has given you much and expects much of you. Don't fail God!
