Numbers 14:18 (KJV) - The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation].
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 08 Aug 2023
It is a marvel that people interpret God’s patience towards us as weakness. This can’t be any further from the truth. The truth is that God’s love compels Him to extend undeserving mercy to us, giving us more than enough time to walk away from rebellion and embrace His saving grace before He is compelled to fully exercise His impartial justice. If you are not in Christ you will face God’s righteous judgement in due season. You can change course today. Don’t delay any longer. Repent and receive forgiveness now.
