Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 05 May 2024
Oftentimes I see people embroiled in serious arguments regarding issues that have limited to no bearing on the essence of the good news of Christ and His kingdom. People involved in such worthless stories and philosophical untruths often believe they are contending for the faith, but how mistaken they are. When the Bible says you should contend for the faith, it is specifically the faith as handed over to you by Christ and not any form of human aberration of that faith. You gain absolutely nothing by engaging in such frivolous debates and should, as a wise follower of Christ, desist from doing that henceforth. Learn to focus your energy and attention on doing those things that bring glory to Jehovah whilst winning souls to Christ.
