1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV — Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 Nov 2024
Many genuine followers of Christ often express dismay at how it seems like evildoers are getting away with doing evil and wonder why God continues to spare them. But they forget that the righteous Judge of all humankind is long-suffering towards us with purpose. He will judge every work in the fullness of time and everyone will receive a just reward for their work. For those who are in Christ, and I hope that includes you, will your work withstand the fire test? This is the time to rethink what you are spending your time doing. Does what you do have any eternal value? Don’t leave it too late.
