Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 July 2024
The fallen human nature is extremely flawed in all ramifications. One such flaw is the desire to be praised and always be the centre of attraction or be in the spotlight. Human beings simply love attention and love people to fawn over them. But this is not right. Only God is worthy of being praised and glorified. You must never let yourself be led astray to ascribe praise and glory to your fellow humans or to false gods, neither must you dare take praise from people, for all praise must be to Jehovah alone. When you do this God Himself will certify and promote you. I adjure you, do not join the multitudes in your congregation and in the world to disregard and dishonour Jehovah by giving the praise and honour due to Him to mere mortals and false gods. As long as you live praise God.
