It is important to understand that everyone who comes to Christ must do so in consonance with Jehovah’s expectation of total disconnection from the world culture and complete devotion to becoming perfected in Christ’s mould. You must be ready and willing to burn the bridge because there can be no turning back. Once you decide to follow Jesus you must do it all the way to the end and cannot entangle yourself with old practices for any reason. Sadly there are many in the churches who want to eat their cake and have it. You cannot serve two masters at the same time or intermittently. You are either with Christ or you are against Him. I implore you to not be entrapped in religious performance but to seek and maintain a true personal relationship with Christ your Lord and Saviour.
Pray: Holy Lord, help me to dissociate from the allure of false worship and hold on to You alone. #Mok
