Isaiah 5:13 (KJV): Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because [they have] no knowledge: and their honourable men [are] famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 Dec 2024
Any objective observer of the global church scene will be left in no doubt as to the fact that many who are said to be following Christ are actually in some form of captivity due to their lack of knowledge of God’s truth and their unwillingness to intentionally search the scripture on their own to inform themselves as to the veracity of what they are being sold. They are content with following blind leaders and false pastors who are leading them towards the abyss. If you are in this group I implore you to wake out of your slumber and set yourself free by emulating the Berean disciples who always fact-checked whatever the preacher told them. You don’t have to remain in this captivity.
Pray: Merciful God, thank You for setting me free, give me grace to continue in Your Word and know Your Truth. #Mok
