Hebrews 12:11 KJV — Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 10 July 2023
God prunes and refines those He loves, so they can grow and bear fruit. It is a painful experience with a happy ending. You are favoured to be chosen by Yahweh, rejoice and embrace His pruning, as He shapes you to be more like Jesus. However if you are not yet in Christ, you need to take that step now to qualify for God's chastening. Don't delay!
