Jude 1:4 KJV — For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 Nov 2023
Any keen observer of what is happening in the churches around the world will conclude that things are falling apart and that many have derailed from the original intent and purpose of the church of Christ. Wolves, hyenas and vultures have infiltrated the assemblies and are making mincemeat of the unguarded sheep. Why is this not surprising? It isn't, because the Bible forewarned that this would happen as the world moves closer to the time of reckoning with Jehovah the Creator. Today we see and hear many blaspheming God and abusing God's grace and patience by wallowing in sinful behaviour. For those who are genuine disciples this is nothing but a vexation of the spirit. So what do we need to do? We must continue to watch and pray that we also are not deceived and that those who have been deceived will find their way back into Christ's fold. As for those wolves, hyenas and vultures we must continue to resist them, remembering that we are not warring against flesh and blood.
Pray: Lord, help me as I dorn Your whole armour and confront the forces of darkness troubling Your children. #Mok
