Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 Dec 2023
Jehovah is all about mercy and truth. He is the Truth and His mercy endures through all generations. He expects those who profess Him as Lord to emulate and exhibit this character trait in their relationship with others. God shows us mercy by not giving us the right punishment we deserve for our wrongdoing. He forgives us instead and gives us opportunities to make amends and change. Similarly God expects you and I to always uphold His truth, no matter how detrimental that could be for us. You must be truthful and merciful in relating with others. That’s a hallmark of someone following Christ in this antiChrist world we live in today.
