Many of us often default to our human nature when it comes to the issue of exerting revenge for wrong done to us. We always want to get even and not feel cheated. It is interesting to know that the pressure to return good for good is not as common as that of returning evil for evil, and one wonders why. I want you to know that it is all traceable to the faulty nature we carry. But the good news is that God has a better way and He wants us to never repay evil with evil, but with good and leave Him to justify us. Jesus even commands His followers to pray for those who persecute them and despitefully use them. That’s Jehovah’s golden standard for those who fear Him. Will you comply?
