1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV — But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 17 Nov 2023
Nobody becomes somebody unless God lets them. The world will tell you of self-made people but the truth is they don’t exist. You are who you are because God has enabled you. He started by endowing you with innate gifts and talents, then grants you opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge and gives you wisdom and understanding to know when to apply your abilities in a profitable and beneficial way. It is Jehovah who brings opportunities your way. It is never by your scheming. If you are a wise disciple of Christ you will ensure to acknowledge God as your Enabler just as Apostle Paul in today’s scripture.
