2 Samuel 22:3 KJV — The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 03 Jan 2025
If one were to conduct a research into who or what people trust or what gives them confidence in life, it will be surprising that many will hardly point to Yahweh as their Source of confidence and the one to Whom they owe their lives and life achievements. And sadly this will not be limited to folks outside of the church belief system. But King David in today’s scripture leaves no one in doubt as to Who the Guarantor of his life is – Jehovah Elohim. I assure you that if you put your trust in anyone other than the Omnipotent God you are completely on shifting sands and your life is at risk. You must know that people will disappoint you, wealth will fail you, position is not reliable and only the Omniscient and eternal God is worthy of trust because He will never fail you. Reconsider your situation and have faith in Christ.
