1 Corinthians 3:17 KJV — If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 05 Sept 2024
Many people, including those who have been reconciled unto God through faith in Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross at Calvary, are ignorant of the fact that Jehovah no longer resides in temples built by humans. He now dwells as Imannuel, “God with us, living in us”, in those who He has redeemed to Himself. If you are a follower of Christ you are now the temple of God. You must keep your body in a state that honours Jehovah and is habitable for the King of kings and Lord of lords. Your ignoring this is dangerous and could lead to regrettable consequences. Stop desecrating your body and mind by desisting from doing those things that God condemns.
