Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 25 Oct 2023
Divorce, in contradiction of God's plan and purpose, is commonplace in society worldwide, even among those who profess Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It has become so bad in some societies where groundless divorce is now lawful. It is impossible for the seed of divorce to germinate and flourish where there is genuine love for one another. When a couple loves each other as God loves them, they will not have room to contemplate divorce, because love covers a multitude of sins. Are you currently contemplating divorce? Think again and ask God to help you rediscover His love and give you grace to love your spouse as God loves them - unconditionally.
