Romans 5:5 KJV — And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 27 Mar 2024
Unlike those who hope in anyone or anything but Jehovah whose hope can be readily dashed, everyone whose hope is anchored in the Most High God is guaranteed of a fulfilment of that hope because Jehovah never fails. Such people will never be ashamed, neither will they ever regret putting their hope in Christ. As they lean on God and yield to the Holy Spirit they are led in a path surrounded by the love of Christ and filled with the uncommon peace of knowing that God is in total control of all things, even when things are looking pear-shaped. Where does that leave you and others who do not have a relationship with Jehovah? Well, such cannot partake in this hope until they make their way right with God by turning away from sin and accepting the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Are you ready to do that?
