Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 Apr 2025
What would you rather choose – a perishable or a non-perishable reward? The answer to that question would seem very obvious to anyone with a modicum of what we call common sense, wouldn’t it? Alas, what we see in the world is that lots of people choose the temporary and perishable over the eternal non-perishable. They prefer the short-term fleeting pleasure of here and now to the unfailing reward of eternal glory and riches of Christ in the company of Jehovah’s saints and angels in heaven. But the wise ones submit themselves to the Holy Spirit and choose the temporary fiery trials of faith in the present world to gain the good that can never be taken away from them in all of eternity in Christ. What would you choose?
Pray: Almighty Jehovah, I choose to wait for Your eternal reward and I reject satan’s offer of reward for the here and now. #Mok
