Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 13 Jan 2025
It is a good thing to be competent and confident as followers of Christ and never to forget that we are what we are because God has given us the talents, knowledge and wisdom to be so. And we must always defer to Christ and His unfailing plan if we want to remain relevant in fulfilling His purpose in the world. Sadly many in the churches around the world are either ignorant of this or outrightly ignoring it. The consequences are often unpalatable as they bring shame and disappointment to those who insist on doing things their own way rather than Jehovah’s way. But you don’t have to be like such people. You can choose to always ask God for His own plan and you can run with that plan because Christ will always ensure it succeeds.
