Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 Jan 2024
It is quite hard to imagine how people who claim to be worshippers of Jehovah can also be comfortable patrons of various types of idol worship, knowing that Jehovah abhors and condemns such practices. But this is what happens in church communities across the world and it should be strictly condemned and those who indulge in the practices reprimanded and shown what is right. For some it may be graven images while for others it may be material possessions and other things or even people they hold in high esteem above Christ. I don’t know what your own idol or idols are, but I urge you to cast them away and return to Jehovah alone. Restrain yourself from falling into this trap again.
