Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 24 June 2024
It is a pity that people have little understanding of thanksgiving and as a result do not develop the habit in their daily life. Folks, even those who you think should know better, such as churchgoers, only associate thanksgiving to when they receive answers to their prayers to Jehovah. For instance, they only remember to thank God when they escape a road accident unhurt. They forget it is the same God that looks after them every time they ply the roads without incidents and return home safely. They fail to understand that Jehovah deserves their thanksgiving for the daily miracle of going to bed and waking up the next day and for putting food on their table. You must learn to make thanksgiving a daily habit and rejoice in your Maker because God loads everyone He created with benefits every day.
