1 Corinthians 10:20 KJV — But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 03 June 2024
Many who are new, and even those who are further in their spiritual journey in Christ are faced with the challenges of unlearning old habits and practices and learning to conform with the new culture of life as followers of Christ. If you are struggling with this I want to encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to help you burn the bridges to your old ways of life and establish you in the new life. You cannot continue to participate in those old sacrifices and rituals that honour the devil. You cannot partake of their feasts under any guise. Remember you are called to love others, not to emulate them. So don’t be deceived by any human philosophy and doctrines of demons.
Pray: Immortal God, give me boldness to shun every association with fruits of unrighteousness. #Mok
