Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 Nov 2025

There are many who parade around claiming to be disciples of Christ and bragging about things they know very little about. Today’s scripture is a reminder to such people that their behaviour is contrary to the “be attitudes” expected of those who are Christ followers. Those who follow Christ must have a humble and teachable spirit that Christ modelled for all to emulate. This is so foundational to becoming Christlike as it is what each person requires to enable the Holy Spirit do His work of moulding one in the image of Christ and becoming a citizen of Heaven. Such a person is indeed blessed as they become an attraction and others follow them in embracing Christ and bringing God’s will to be established in the world. Wouldn’t you want to be one whose lifestyle brings others to Christ? You can if you choose to be humble and teachable, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform you.
