Matthew 23:28 (KJV): Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 Sept 2026

It is very disheartening to see many people who pretend to be following Christ and paint a picture of themselves as being righteous when they are anything but righteous. These hypocrites not only deceive themselves but also deceive others who are oblivious of the evil they do when nobody is watching. They forget that Jehovah cannot be deceived and nothing can be hidden from Him. And the righteous God and Judge of all human intents will surely hold them to account. Now if you are playing that game with God, you better cease and desist, and mend your way now. You need to repent truthfully and let God cleanse you and circumcise your heart right away, so you can be a partaker of God’s righteousness. Do not leave it until tomorrow because you do not know what tomorrow holds.

Pray: Merciful God, I am tired of being a hypocrite. Please Lord have mercy and show me Your salvation. #Mok
