God’s Word for Today – 04 June 2026
Hebrews 5:2 (KJV): Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 04 June 2026
Jesus Christ in human flesh endured adversity, humiliation and mockery to model to us how we should respond in such situations. He admonished us to respond with compassion and to bless those who are responsible for persecuting us because of our faith and trust in God. I admit that this is a tall order and one cannot do it on sheer will power but only with the help of the Holy Spirit. This is why anyone who wants to succeed in this journey of faith must develop and maintain a fruitful relationship with the Holy Spirit. There is no other way and no shortcut, except total submission and dependence on God’s power alone.
Pray: Almighty God, thank You Lord for giving me Your Holy Spirit, help me to fully surrender to Him. #Mok
