Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 Sept 2026

In God’s Kingdom and in the kingdom of humans, laws are instituted both to deter and to punish those who have a tendency to live contrary to the law.  And the Bible leaves no room for hypocrites by stipulating that those who follow Christ must obey the laws of the land as far as they do not contradict the laws of Jehovah. So, if you are a Christ follower you must uphold the laws of the land, you must not violate them, and if you do you must be ready to face the consequences. Never blame the devil or anyone for that matter when you choose to violate God’s laws or the laws of the land. You can repent and ask God for mercy when you violate the divine laws, you can try doing that when you violate secular laws, but it is doubtful that anyone would listen, so beware.

Pray: Everlasting Father, help me to uphold Your divine laws and keep the laws of the land. #Mok
