John 12:26 (KJV): If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honour.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 06 Oct 2026

The picture one sees in the world today is that of millions of people who claim to be serving Christ, but whose behaviour and actions speak otherwise because they do not seem to be following in the way of Christ. The followers of Christ in Antioch were the first to be recognised by those observing their behaviour and actions and concluded that these are Christians because they were mirroring Christ. Today the appellation “Christian” has become a misnomer in my view, because many who call themselves Christians are obviously not in anyway Christlike in their demeanour and actions. They are not following Christ. Indeed, many of them are the very reason the Christian faith is hated by many in society. I urge you to look unto Christ and follow Him.
