God’s Word for Today - 08 Oct 2026

Romans 6:6 (KJV): Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 08 Oct 2026

Everyone that has genuinely accepted Christ as Saviour and Lord can rest assured that they are indeed a new creation and that the old self is passed away. That person has been delivered from the stranglehold of sin and now have the power to intentionally reject every temptation to sin with the help of the Holy Spirit who is now their companion, dwelling in them. It becomes easier to refuse to submit to the devil’s agenda and to stay anchored in Christ and His promises of protection and deliverance from the allure and power of sin. You must reject the satanic deception that you have liberty in Christ and God’s grace is abundant to forgive when you intentionally sin. Please know that your liberty also comes with responsibility and it is not given so you can disobey and dishonour God, but for you to bring glory to Jehovah and His Kingdom.

Pray: Benevolent God, thank You for setting me free from the power of sin. Please help me to walk upright in Christ. #Mok
