God’s Word for Today - 09 July 2026

Leviticus 19:14 (KJV): Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I [am] the LORD.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 July 2026

Many people run foul of today’s scripture without realising that they are offending God. People, through their suggestions, behaviour and advice could, deliberately or ignorantly, misguide others who are looking up to them for direction. This is the same as putting a stumbling block before a blind person. Many do not realise that others are watching them to learn from them, and here you are delightfully backbiting and slandering others because you think they will never find you out. You are showing a lack of fear and reverence for God, and you are courting God’s displeasure and wrath. It is time for you to repent of this wicked behaviour and ask for God’s mercy and forgiveness. Delay is dangerous, so do not tarry.

Pray: Merciful God, I repent of my evil behaviour, please have mercy and forgive me. #Mok
