God’s Word for Today - 09 Oct 2026

Job 36:11 (KJV): If they obey and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Oct 2026

People often quote the second part of today’s scripture and use it out of context to satisfy their inordinate desire for the easy life. But they conveniently omit the first part that is conditional to the fulfilment of the promise in the second part. They want to spend their time on earth in prosperity and pleasures, but many do not want to obey Jehovah and serve Him. So, it is very disheartening to see that many church ministries have embraced this false prosperity theology and leading many people into perdition while also impoverishing them. This false and twisted theology is not of God and both those who push it and those who believe it are enemies of God. If you have been caught in that poisonous web you must extract yourself speedily lest you perish.

Pray: Merciful God, please deliver everyone who has fallen victim of false theology and help them to find the right path. #Mok
