God’s Word for Today - 09 Sept 2026

James 5:16 (KJV): Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Sept 2026

God’s blueprint for the community that He is building is one that is founded on sacrificial love, codependency, mutual care, and deep faith in Christ. Everyone that comes into that community is embraced by all as a child of God and a joint heir of His Kingdom. This is the image that Jehovah expects every physical church community to present to the world, so that the world can experience God’s Kingdom in the present. Sadly, that is not usually what people see when they interact with churchgoers. They see the opposite and wonder what Christ these people are proclaiming. If you are in Christ and you agree with this analysis, then you must arise and pray for God to intervene and bring about a change.

Pray: O Lord God, arise Lord and cleanse the assemblies of those called by Your name. #Mok
