God’s Word for Today - 12 Oct 2026

Romans 7:6 (KJV): But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 12 Oct 2026

If you are a follower of Christ, you should know that you have been delivered from the law of sin and death and the life you now live is marked by freedom in Christ that empowers you to conform with the spirit of the law and not its letters. You are now renewed in your spirit man, and you are a new person because God’s Spirit dwells in you and communes with you, enabling you to live right in Christ. I implore you to focus your gaze on Christ and not to take your cue from humans who are fallible and can mislead you. The faith of many has been derailed because they replaced Christ with their pastors and others, so do not follow their example, lest you suffer the same fate.

Pray: Merciful Jehovah, help me to be focused on You and live by Your Word alone. #Mok
