God’s Word for Today - 14 Oct 2026

Galatians 5:13 (KJV): For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 14 Oct 2026

There is a common parlance among many churchgoers, saying there is freedom in Christ, and many of them ignorantly interpret this to mean that they are free to do whatever they choose to do and however they think best to do it. It is true that Christ has set free those who trust in Him, but that freedom comes with great responsibility, and God will not look kindly upon anyone who uses the freedom contrary to Jehovah’s expectations of them. You must know that Christ paid for your liberty with His own life that He gave up for you. You cannot use your freedom for self-serving purposes to the detriment of others. Nor can you use it to wilfully commit sin or do anything that God frowns upon. Today I urge you to gird up yourself and commit to always use your liberty to please God and glorify Him alone.

Pray: Jehovah El-Shaddai, I surrender to You, let me never use my liberty to sin against You. #Mok
