Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 May 2026

How do you spend your time as a follower of Christ? What do you prioritise on a daily basis? The early disciples of Christ chose what was most crucial – prayer and God’s word. Both prayer and the word are the cornerstone of our walk in Christ and the catalyst for winning souls for God’s kingdom. But what are believers today focusing on? It is sad that many have abandoned this fundamental duty and are devoted to spreading everything but not the Good News of Christ. Their prayers are misdirected and selfish and they show no passion for winning souls for Christ. We all must wake up from our slumber and return to our first love when we first received Christ. It is dangerous to continue to neglect our core duty to God. It is time to repent and recommit to truthful prayer and ministry of God’s word undiluted.
