God’s Word for Today - 15 Oct 2026

Ezekiel 20:32 (KJV): And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 Oct 2026

It is disheartening to see churches thronging with people, many of whom are not there to genuinely seek and serve Jehovah, but who are present only because they desire the blessings of God. They want to be like others in the world who are busy amassing wealth and power and doing whatever their hearts desire. Some even take it further to patronise false gods in addition to serving Jehovah, ignoring the fact that Christ warned that no one can serve God and idols simultaneously. None of these is acceptable to Jehovah. You cannot pretend to be serving Christ and want to be like those who do not know God nor care about Him, but whose god is their belly. Jehovah sees through everyone and knows the intent of every heart, so you cannot deceive God. Know this if you love the world then you are God’s enemy. You have a choice to make.

Pray: Omniscient God, You know the heart and desire of everyone, let my desire be to please and glorify You always. #Mok
