God’s Word for Today - 18 Nov 2025
Isaiah 25:4 (KJV): For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones [is] as a storm [against] the wall.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 18 Nov 2025
Wherever one is in the world the situation of those who are considered to be poor with little access to participating in the social and economic life of their societies is very similar. They are forgotten by the governance and societal machineries and denied basic human dignity and rights. That may be seen as normal in this broken world that is weighed down under the influence of satanic forces of darkness, but it is a complete aberration to what life should look like where Jehovah’s will is done routinely. God is the Defender of the helpless and Saviour of the oppressed. He will not fail to rise up to fight for His own who trust in Him. I don’t know what you are going through right now but I know you can call upon Jehovah to deliver you. He will not forsake you in the day of trouble.
Pray: Omnipotent God, there is so much evil in the world, arise Lord and deliver Your people who trust in You. #Mok
