Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 22 Jan 2026

I am always amused whenever I reflect on satan, a created being, wanting to challenge the God who created him. It is a stupidly audacious thing to ever think of doing, but of course satan is a damaged being. God’s original plan for human beings remains solidly intact since the time when God said “let us make man in our image and after our likeness”. His focus was and remains all humans without exception, no matter the tribe or tongue, social or economic status or the colour of your skin and your culture. When Adam failed, all of humanity failed and fell short of God’s glory. That triggered Jehovah’s rescue plan of redemption that was in place since time began. Today everyone who chooses to can key into that plan by accepting God’s free gift of salvation through faith in Christ. You too can if you are not yet in Christ. Don’t be left out.
