Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 27 Jan 2026

Many people often ask the question why God is slow in punishing evildoers. Some even wonder in ignorance whether the God of the Old Testament is the same God we refer to today. I want you to know that Jehovah has not changed and will never change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is never His desire that those who sin and are evil should perish, but that they should repent and forsake their evil ways. So God patiently waits and gives them an extremely long rope because He is righteous when He delivers His judgement. Jehovah will never force anyone against their will, so after tolerating them for a while they will have no justifiable reason to complain against God’s righteous judgement. I tell you that you don’t want to be in that situation, so repent now and avoid God’s judgement.
